Burger Star’s ‘Big Burger’ goes home.
Burger Star uses a 1969 Fiat 500, to spread the Burger Star name throughout the West Country.
The tiny Italian car is painted to appear as the country’s biggest Quarterpounder.
In July this year Burger Star Proprietor David Field folded his 6ft 2" frame into the car and joined 14 other Fiat 500s from the Fiat 500 club of Great Britain to drive the baby car on a marathon journey back to its birthplace Turin - Italy.
The highlight of the 2,563-mile round trip through France, Germany, Holland Belgium, Luxembourg and Italy was the rare opportunity to make several circuits of the famous rooftop test track at the Lingotto Fiat factory built in the 1920’s.
The pictures here show the Burger Car's arrival in Italy as well as its historic circuits above the roof tops of TURIN.
